The road to the Texas Women's Open officially began this week, and I have to admit, I was pretty excited for this one.

Walking away from the Copper Rock Championship, I honestly feel overwhelmed with gratitude for how this week unfolded.

Who would’ve thought that hard work and determination really pays off 😉 I’m beyond excited about how this week at the Copper Rock Championship turned out. Of course there are still things I want to continue improving, but honestly… I wouldn’t change a thing about this experience. This event was something I had been building toward since the beginning of the season after earning my exemption. To come out here, compete the way I did, and play my best golf when I needed it most means more to me than people probably realize. More than anything, I showed up for myself this week. And somewhere along the way, I realized something really important… I still have what it takes. And I’m definitely not stopping now. There was so much more to this week than just the leaderboard. Round 2 at the Copper Rock Championship was one of those days that reminded me why I’ve kept pushing through all of this.

Round 2 at the Copper Rock Championship was honestly so much fun. I knew exactly what I needed to do coming into the day — I had to come out and play good golf if I wanted to make the cut. And thankfully… I did just that. It feels really special to finally feel some momentum building in the right direction. After everything over the last few years — life changes, mental struggles, swing changes, and learning to believe in myself again — this week meant a lot more than just a number on a leaderboard. Round 1 at the Copper Rock Championship is in the books. Overall, I’m honestly happy with a lot of what I did out there today. I shot 3 over, but the round actually felt pretty easy for the most part, and I gave myself a lot of good looks throughout the day. The biggest setbacks were two doubles that definitely cost me. Apparently I also learned today that I can hit a pitching wedge about 180 yards out of a bunker 😂… not exactly the shot I was trying to pull off. Nonetheless, I’m excited to head into Round 2. I know I’m going to have to work my booty off to make the cut, but I’m looking forward to the challenge. One more day to fight. for the Full Blog and Video...
