Round 2 Reset | Trusting the Process in Tournament Golf

One of the most important parts of tournament golf is the ability to reset.

No matter what happens the day before, you always get another opportunity to step onto the first tee and start fresh.

Round 2 this week was exactly that for me — a reset.

After a frustrating first round, the focus shifted to something simple: patience.

Not trying to force anything.

Not pressing.

Just trusting the preparation and playing the game.

That’s easier said than done, especially when you know what you’re capable of and you want results right away.

But golf doesn’t work like that.

The more you try to force it, the further it tends to slip away.

Round 2 became a reminder of what happens when you stay present and let the round come to you.

Shot by shot.
